So what problem(s) did he have to start with? My ID-800H seems to be working fine except for the beeps, and they don't occur every transmission - just occasionally. I normally run the full 50 watts on both bands - VHF and UHF - without any problem. It seems that the beeps only occur on DV mode, though. Regards, Keith>>
