Fran what we are doing here in cumming,GA on KI4SBA is when we do link we use
the lesser used port which in our case in port B to link to the reflector. That
leaves port C for local use or to link to a distant repeater direct for any
user that may what to call someone direct (we stress to take down the link when
finished) or for the ones that do not like to listen to the reflector ( what we
fondly refer to as the national party line HiHi). Ours is also set up to allow
average users to link/unlink which up to this point has not been a problem but
if it does we would have to address it at that time.
