Hi We ask everyone that wants to register to send in the request by completing a form on our website (www.dstarinfo.org). Once the request is received we do the following:
1. Check the callsign is valid 2. Check that they are within Scotland or parts of England that our systems cover. 3. Check that at least one of our 4 systems has heard the station. We receive a lot of requests from people outside of our coverage area and also outside of our country. We do advise people to look for their local system via the www.dstarusers.org. We dont ask for any money from folk but on our website we do have a link to a paypal donation page. Since this has started we have had a good response from folk. Its always going to be a heated issue at times. We dont have to allow access to the internet side of the D-Star system but we have taken the decision to allow all registered users access donation or no donation.
