Likely cheaper being one band at a time. If not, what's the point of releasing it. Discontinue the IC91AD As it is, the differences between the IC-91 and IC-92 aren't stagerring, choosing between them is difficult as it is. IC92AD is a better radio without the battery discharge bug and has a better display interface. The IPX rating and overall ruggedness remind me of commercial HH transceivers. Not everyone is motivated by the better environmental specs. Adding another 2/70 handheld with D-Star into the mix can't help. It will if it is less expensive. > > So does anyone know what the USP is for this (these) new radios? A SWAG at the price point would be ~$399 MSRP with a ~$319 street price.
