Hi Kevin. I only have an IC-91AD, and just recently made my first contact. We have no Digital Repeaters close by, and I just got my R T System cloning program. Penbroke,GA is the closest one, and I used a BD-35 Mirage amp with the HT. The repeater is around 50 to 60 miles from me. And the contact answered about 25 miles from me. He was doing something, other wise I would've liked to make a simplex contact.
My next rig is an ID-880H it is a dual band, but one at a time at $499.99. Compared to the IC-2820H at $899.98, both complete.
