Hello Group,

for evryone who like to do some tests or who want's to join the
trust, please feel free to register with:
xtrust2.xreflector.net
This setting for this may be done in the dsipsvd.conf located in
/opt/products/dstar/dstar_gw/dsipsvd/
in the line beginning with
TRUST_SERVER =
The xtrust team will see your registration request and will accept it
within
24h, independent of the system you are using (ICOM or non ICOM).
All Systems will be supported to strictly follow the idea of hamradio
and <http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&p=thMx..&search=to> to
<http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&p=thMx..&search=meet> meet
<http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&p=thMx..&search=the> the
<http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&p=thMx..&search=demands> demands on
the german law. Also there are no
requirements to run 3rd party scripts as a gate for
<http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&p=thMx..&search=acceptance>
acceptance. This
is to avoid already existing regional
<http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&p=thMx..&search=concern> concerns
about giving someone else
partial control over their gateway system.
Xtrust2 is the main trust server of a group of 3 independent trust
servers which are replicating their data against each other and are
fully compatible to the G2 network and any other icom trust server
running the replication scripts.
But please be aware, currently there is no data exchange between
the K5TIT Trust and one of the XTRUSTs established.
I had a small talk to Jim, N5MIJ, from the K5TIT Team in Friedrichshafen
at the ham fair to explain him that it is strongly not our intrest to
divide
the existing D-Star network into pieces but we saw the needings of
another trust to fulfill the above mentioned needings. And i also
explained
to him that we are intrested to replicate the data with the fellows from
the K5TIT Trust Team. We agreed that we will have futher conversations
regarding that issue.
Again, this all ist not to act against the deserving K5TIT Team. I will
state
this clearly to prevent some rumours.
