Hi Folks! I just bought an IC-80AD and would like some advice.
1. Which data cable does one use to send and receive data and is there a USB version that plugs into the data port on the side? 2. What software does one use for sending information. I know of D-RATS and that is cool, but I am wondering what else has some sizzle. 3. Can the data port and cable be used to configure the radio including the D-STAR portion. 4. I have the USB cable for use in the audio connector for cloning and loading from a PC, but would like to know what software will configure the radio including the D-STAR portion. The ICOM software doesn't seem to do that. 5. I also bought the GPS microphone and haven't figured it out yet (nor the D-STAR configuration) so any integration advice with the above would be helpful.
