From what directory are you executing
dune-common/bin/dunecontroll all ?
If you don't know, try with "pwd" from the command line.
What are the contents of that directory?

thank you for the brief explanation,
I did what you said till "sudo port install libcxx" and every
thing was working fine, then coming to the installation page
I tried this "sudo port install automake libtool make gcc
gcc-fortran gcc-c++ subversion" and gor Error: Port make not found
I asked for help from someone and he said that I should type this
unstead: "sudo port install automake libtool make gcc gfortran g++
subversion" with that it started calculating for few minutes but
gave this error: Port makegcc not found.
Do you have any idea how to fix that ?

Hello,
I am a beginner at Dumu and I want to use this package to
create oil and gas reservoir simulator based on Finite
Elements, thing is I never succeeded installing the Framework,
it's like Chinese for me since I didn't use something like
that before, I tried to follow the documentation but it didn't
work and I don't understand what to do, I never used Unix nor
fortran before but only Windows, Mac, Visual Studio and Xcode.
So could you please explain for me how to install everything
step by step or to give me some very clear explanation how to
do that from scratch. I am using Mac Os ( snow leopard and
Xcode 3.2.6 64 bit ) and I will appreciate if there is any
possibility to run the Framework on Visual Studio 2012 on
Windows ( my preferred compiling software).
