I figured I'd draw some exceptions out of the woodwork. Recollection is
fuzzy, but the only COMMON memory size beyond 12 MB seems to me was 24 MB.
I *think* (dangerous, I know...) that anytime you see one bigger than that,
and certainly anytime you see a HD in a 280c bigger than 320 MB, it's
because the owner upgraded them.
Now, as I said earlier, the RAM can be obtained if one waits long enough on
eBay, and I believe I've even seen it available at one of the zillions of
online stores I look thru. The hard part is that SCSI disk.
