Yep...I have to agree. Actually, I agree so strongly with that opinion that
I sometimes have considered selling my G4 desktop and going back to a G3/450
just so I can continue to run OS 8.6
I would have done it to if eliminating all the extra OS 9 functionality
control panels and extensions hadn't turned 9 into a reasonable stable OS.
Still not as good as 8.6 though.
