First, which Ricochet modem are you talking about. If
you are talking about the "old" 28.8kbps model SX,
then I can say I have been using it for almost two
years now with the serial port. But you mentioned USB,
so I can assume that you are talking about the new
128kbps modem. The new modem has USB, and two types of
serial ports. My question would be why not use the
serial port? About the USB PC-card, buy one at the
local store and try it to see if it works. If it
doesn't then return it.
