That's it. The 2300 comes with 8MB on-board. You need to remove the
existing 12MB memory module and put yours there. However, instead of
getting 48MB, you will go from 20 to 36MB. You need to be careful in
removing the existing board. It may be sticky if it's the original one
and has never been removed. Also, check for clearance from the bottom
case. I think there are some kind of grooves that may prevent the card
from sliding away. You would need to slightly prep up the card to be
able to disconnect it from the motherboard. Gosh! My English is not so
good when trying to describe something like this! Hope you understand.
