The 2400c isn't cheap, but I have mine because it is a Mac, Fast enough
(G3/320) and small enough to use on a plane when I am traveling, especially
considering how small the seats are now in coach. The only thing I don't
like is battery life! I would love the six hours the new PowerBook's have,
but I can't deal with the size of a Pizmo, or even an iBook. In your case,
the first generation PowerBook's don't have any better battery life than the
2400c and they aren't any faster than my 2400c/320, and they are very big.
