Hi Mark!
That's exactly what I was thinking about. If I can secure a 3400c or a
lowend G3 cheap, that's what I'm planning to do. I don't think (at this
time at least ;-) to get a 1400. I'd rather try to get something faster.
Again, I looked at some 2400 on eBay and although they are nice machine,
I can justify to myself paying 800-900, then shelling out another
200-300 for a G3 upgrade when I can get an iBook 300Mhz/64MB/DVD/6GB
brand new for $849. But, you oughta see a lot of crazy things on eBay,
you just need to make sure you don't go insane yourself...
Thanks for your thought, though. I might keep the lowly 230c just to
stay member of the Duo list, a very nice list, beside NewtonTalk!
