In looking at what you spent I would say (and perhaps it's obvious) that you
should part it out. Restore it to a basic system and sell everything off by
the piece to get most, if not all of your money back.
The 4.3gig drive would sell on eBay for more than you paid. I would think
that you could get back the same amount you paid for the rest and the 2300
should fetch $300 now that it's working good.
If you look at PB1400s many don't have CD-ROM drives so you may want to keep
the CD-ROM drive. BTW, the 1400 has PCMCIA slots. That's how I connect to my
ethernet network. Also, go for at least a 133MHz as I believe they have a
faster Bus speed (or something that makes it better than the 117MHz models).
