Laurent,
I just got a PC 9Gig drive that I am using for a AV drive in an external case. I had
the same problem, with the drive spinning, but slowly and it wouldn't show up on my
desktop. I first used a mounting utility and that got the drive spinning at the
normal speed and then I just initialized the drive and it now works just fine.
