  Laurent, I think your solutions' a fine one. The only problem is that I
would hope the person I send the unit to can also help me solve the problem
of the thing going to sleep and staying that way. The lack of charging is
only one of the problems. Although I think your idea is a good one. Know
anyone who'd be able to do the work for a reasonable price??
