Thanks to all that have replied.
I really need to go on a rant here. Please delete if
you don't have time. I tried to call Steve (Jobs) but
he wouldn't take my call. Something about falling
stock prices! (just poking a little fun)
As a WinTel person, I have got to say though that the
Apple TIL is practically WORTHLESS when it comes to
actually locating the actual download I need.
Oh I can search and get INFO on the batteries and the
charges. And it will tell me how to perform the
update. But finding the "Type III Battery extension"
has proven to be an exercise in futility!
I can't for the life of me figure out why Apple would
list articles that are quite in depth about what is
need to update the older Duo chargers to accept Type
III batteries but not have a link to the
software, patch, update that they are referring to!
It's just bad form in my opinion.
Say what you want about WinTel but when I need to find
an update or a driver or whatever it has never been
the futile and frustrating experience it ALWAYS seems
to be with Apple/Mac.
Yes I searched seven ways to Sunday for this thing. I
can find all kinds of "articles" about the problem.
And references to the "fix" but not the actual
download that is needed!
Thanks, I feel better. :-)
PS. Does ANYONE have a link to the ACTUAL update that
I need?
