You only need that extension if you are running 7.5.1 because it's fixed in
future releases of the OS and 7.5.3 is downloadable for free and update to
7.5.5 is also a free download. If you follow the directions, it will work as
I faced the same issue and tried to update the charger while running 7.5.5
and it worked wonderfully. I actually commented to my wife that it was
remarkable to be able to upgrade a charger. As to the other stuff, to each
his/her own.
