Hold down the "T" key on startup of the G4 and you will get the "floating"
icon on a blue background of the firewire symbol. This indicates that the G4
is in firewire disk mode similar to the old SCSI disk mode of our laptops.
Now plug a standard male six pin connector into your firewire port of your
G4. Connect the other end male six pin (NOT the mini four pin connector used
for digital camera connection) connector into the PCMCIA card that is in the
PB 2400. The G4 should show up on the desk top of your PB 2400 and, voila,
you can transfer files back and forth.
