Actually its 10megabit (10BaseT) 100megeabit (100BaseTX) 1000megabit
(GigabitEthrenet) If you don't get a CardBus ethrnet card, expect a
top speed of about 200-300killobit a second in the real world. Also,
with 100BT CardBus ethernet card, the best I've seen is 2megbits a
second. Not that great.

I've done with with my 2400c, A NewTech Firewire card and my iMac
Graphite at work. It is so much faster that ethernet, I was getting
about 3megabytes (24megabits in ethernet speed) a second in the
config. About 10 times faster that the 100BT Ethernet.

I'll be doing this with my G4 at home to move my Documents arround
since I can't do SCSI disk mode (6gig hard drive in the 2400)
