Don't have a G3 on this particular 2400 with the farallon card, so I'm
guessing it might just be a function of how the surrounding network is set
up...
I'm running a 10BT hub in my room with 3 machines connected to it, into a
10/100 switch downstairs into the server which is connected to the cable
modem... We regularly push our network to capacity but it hasn't died
yet...
I've run it on various network including ones with 10/100/1000 swithches
into leased lines, and the internal net speed has suffered very little
although the external performance varies company to company...
