You could try using some heat contact pads, if you can find a thick enough
pad between the drive and the computer you will get nice heat transfer. In
general I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you look at any of the newer
machines with the more modern drives that run much cooler, you will see that
almost none of them have any method for cooling the drive, because it just
doesn't need it. Now you are thinking but the newer machines have fans...
Well I saw a friend's Toshiba that had a very tight compartment just like on
the 2400c with no cooling method and it worked fine. Good luck!
