Allie, as a once and former 2400 owner, you may recall Toshiba drives have
had bootup/wakeup issues with 2400s so it's better to avoid them (in 2400s).

To better address the heat dissipation problem, I put compressed folded
aluminum foil (about 3mm thick) under the 9.5 mm drive, with plastic film
insulation between it and the drive. No heat issues and the thinner drive is
also slightly lighter.
