G'day Lewis
LOL I love formal terms such as Miss, Mrs. but hate Ms. Seems to be a mutant phrase!
Never quite understood that one.

7.6.1 Is very stable and does add a few more goodies which I prefer over 7.5 versions.
the 2300 can run 8.1 which is also very stable with still more added goodies although
you will find that the OS will demand alot more ram using 8.1 over 7.6.1. Myself I
would stay away from 8.5 - 8.6 on a 2300 since they require way to much ram to run
will on that model. 8.1 would be the best trade off provided you "got RAM" if not 7.6
is your best bet! Bootspeed /time can be increased by turning off all
contol/extentions you don't need or use!
