Best bet is to boot off an 8.1 disk, rename the OS9 System Folder to
something, and perform a clean install of OS 8.1. From there, you can pull
any third party extensions out of the OS9 Sys Folder (Virus scanners, etc.).
Should be fairly smooth going. You may have the bless the 8.1 folder as
well.
