You probably should not put tape onto this, the best way round this if
you want to use tape is to cut a piece of stiff plastic or Veroboard
and screw that to the drive using the screw holes on the underside of
the drive, then put the tape on that.
However it would probably be just as easy to drill or file new holes
in the old mounting bracket to suit your new drive.
