Hi Folks: My favorite software are as follows (though in no particular order):
Hypercard: one of the reasons I switched platforms in 1996. When I found out about this program, and the great things one could do with it, I was stunned. In my opinion one of the best pieces of software ever developed. Nisus Writer: fast and powerful. I love the 10 editable clipboards and the noncontiguous text selection, just to name a few features. And, you can even get a copy free from the Nisus web site. FileMaker Pro 2.1: yeah, I know, this version is way behind the times, but it still does what I need it to, and quite nicely to boot. ClarisWorks: another milestone in great software development. When I demo it to people, most are amazed by all the things it can do, and so easily. I stopped at version 5. whatever. WriteNow: when I want a fast to start word processing, this is my number one choice. SimCity 2000: way too addicting for my own good. I use other things, such as Photoshop, on more powerful machines.
