According to e-machines, the EtherDock does not support any PPC duo's
machines (ie 2300), also I think that the last officially supported OS
was probably 8.1
All that aside however, it will mostly work ok with the 2300, I run it
with OS 8.6 with no problems, however I do not use the ethernet on it.
Other list members have posted that it works fine except for the
ethernet, apparently it connects ok but will lock the Duo up as soon
as you attempt to transfer files. (but some claim to have used it ok,
YMMV).
