Sam,

The ethernet solutions that I have found to work for my Duo 2300c are as
follows:

I have at home a Duo-Dock-II that has integral (built-in) ethernet
(10-base).
And I have this configuration connected to a home LAN via an
autosensing/autoswitching LAN switch (then this network is connected to a
Cable Modem for access to the Internet.

I have a portable Apple Duo Mini-Dock (that has a SCSI port), and I
connect an
Asante micro EN/SC adapter (Ethernet to SCSI). This works well, as long
as I
do not try to connect it to certain autosensing switches, as it will not
always
properly negotiate connection parameters, and will fail to connect to the
Internet.

So between the two of these, I connect to the Internet via my Duo Dock at
home,
and when I am on the road, or at work, I connect via my Mini-Dock and
EN/SC adapter
(unless there is incompatibility with the switch/hub/router I am trying
to connect to).

I purchased all of the above on E-Bay at various times over the past two
years.

Regards,
Joe Getchel
