Dear Guru's,
When I tried to install 7.6 (disk image) on my 1400 Nupower G3, it
said: "This program won't run on this computer."
Previous advice was: 1. Try to start from the CD
2. Partition the drive
3. Use cd 7.6.1
So I bought an aged CD player. The 2400 would not boot from Apple's 7.6 CD.
I then tried a Disk Warrior CD (new. I Use it on my iMac 9.1). No boot,
dialog box said I needed an updated CD. I've bought a 7.6.1 but I bet when
it gets here and I try it, my 2400 will reject it too. Norton says the hard
drive is fine. Any ideas?
Thanks, Donald McCaig
