More PCI Powermacs that are somewhat upgrade challenged but quite decent 
are the 5400/5500/6400/6500 models. I own a 6500 and am quite happy with it.

And, don't forget the clones. A lot of them are nice too.

These days, however, if you have the money, I'd go for a Beige G3 or 9600, 
maybe even a B&W G3.
