I connect my iBook to a 19" monitor at home and have no problem using PhotoShop at a screen resolution of 1024x768. I just dock more palettes together and use the space more efficiently. Besides, at work I use a G4 desktop with a 19" monitor set to 1152x870 which is not all that much larger than the above. I find resolutions higher than that start making everything too small. Plus I haven't found a need to add a second monitor to the G4 as I'm pretty satisfied with the space I have. So you prefer more desktop space that you get with your 2400, over a smaller space with significantly faster processing speed (and higher RAM capacity)? Since we're on the topic of making a laptop into a desktop Mac, here's what I do when I get home (if I don't feel like wandering around the house going wireless). All I do is plug in the AC, video and USB. The USB cable is connected to a mini hub with a USB printer, scanner, my Apple Pro keyboard and a Kensington TurboMouse Pro (gotta love all those buttons). > The G4 Ti book has a PCMCIA slot. Isn't it faster, accepts more RAM, has more viewable area as well as 10/100/1000Base-T? -makmac (devil's advocate) ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
