A 2400 is a great machine. Get MacOS 8.6, Eudora 5 and Internet Explorer 5.1. IMAO Netscape is worthless. I run MacOS 9.1 and Mathematica 4 on my 2400/180 80/4, along with AppleWorks 6, Opera 5 and Eudora 5. Peace Aqua
