So either Apple is completely clueless about what they are serving 
and where (and/or have no clue about server security), or two 
departments (support and legal) are playing a hide-n-seek turf war. 
Apple looks stupid any way you slice it.

I have no problem with C&D letters being sent to anyone who posts 
someone else's property on their own server(s). Apple has always been 
justifiably aggressive about that. But the stuff in question here has 
seemingly always been available somewhere on Apple's servers 
available to the public.

I still find the assertion that Apple has staff assigned to reading 
mailing lists to find out where their servers are leaking laughably 
absurd. I want that job description printed on company letterhead a 
framed on my wall.
