(big grin to open) And you've just exceeded the engineering skill of the
majority by quite a distance! (tho it is nice to encounter someone who is
not afraid to breadboard a circuit to fit the need instead of "buying" a
solution...wirewrapping lives!!)

What you suggest is quite possible...note that the 2300 display uses
different refresh rates and is multisync capable (in that it will support up
to either 4 or 8 k colors....the refresh rate does force it to 640 x 400 due
to the lower VRAM availability at 4K colors...you should be able to work
around this with direct VGA drive). I used to have some of the app notes for
the different displays, I'll check files at home to see if I still have them.
If so, they're yours if you want them.

Still am pondering the Mac 128/LCD model.....maybe stick a CD in the side of
the unit, or front mount a slot-feeder (if I can find a SCSI one). Still
have a 1/3 ht. CD device mounted in the DuoDock....it is nice to have a CD
built into the dock, having one in a mod'ed 128 would be major neat.
Now.......all I need is TIME!!!

Andrew
