You'd think the TIL would have one, but I never found it if so. In fact
I've never seen mention from Apple that some versions don't support some
Duos, and had to find out the hard way.

I think there exist versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and possibly 1.3. One could
assume the earliest version will work for a 270 running 7.1 and the latest
version probably supports a 2300, but beyond that it's mix n' match. I seem
to have 1.1 (came with Duo software 2.0 - the 280 update for 7.1) and 1.2
(came with 7.5) on this 280, which likely means one of them worked at one
time and others didn't, but I don't have a Duo battery that'll even be
recognised at this point so I can't find out. I can make them available to
anyone who has another (or no) version and wants to test them, though.

My initial guesses would be:

1.0 (probably from Duo Software 1.0) - 270, 270c running 7.1
1.1 (from Duo Software 2.0) - 280, 280c running 7.1
1.2 (from System 7.5) - ? running 7.5
1.3 (?) - 2300 running 7.5.2+
