Hmmm .... I didn't realize that the 250 had its info on the case top. I thought
that started with the 270 or 280c. But yes, so go out and make your friends
jealous with your "souped-up" 250, or your really "poky" 2300). The retrograde
kit mentioned by someone here that the Powerbookguy.com has for sale includes a
210 or 230 case top so as to make your Duo "generic" but otherwise does not
mislable the Duo. The reason I bought the retrograde kit is that the 2300 case
top with the built-in track pad, did not work on my 280c for some reason. I
assumed that it had to do with the ROM on the 280c, but perhaps I just
overlooked some software extension (but I thought I got them all). Please let
the list know if you succeed in using the 2300 top on the 250. Anyway, the
advice is, keep your 2300 top (even if it works on the 250) so that if you ever
sell your 2300 you can sell it "whole". Some people really like those
furslugginer trakpads!
