I would suggest using Synchronize! from Qdea. It only costs $30, and is
MUCH better than File Synchronization/Assistant. First of all, it doesn't
have any bugs (at least none that I've found), and you can specify much
smarter synchronization criteria. I really can't recommend this application
enough. I held out for a while because I didn't want to have to pay for
something, but it is definitely worth its $30. There's also a demo version

I am no way connected with Qdea, I'm just a very satisfied customer! I no
longer even think about file synchronization between my Mac at work, may
Mac at home, and my Duo. It just happens exactly how I want with the click
of a button.
