I don't agree with your moral since I've had trouble with Airborne also.  
There are thousands of detours that a package can take and many human

LOWER OUR STANDARDS?  only when they LOWER their prices...and why should we 
expect less from them?  if we expect it, they will produce it.  They are in 
competition, and the fact that we are charged for an overnight should mean 
overnight sometime this year!  You have to be very abrupt with dealings on 
delivery, since we are all going to be doing lots more shopping online and 
someone will have to do those deliveries.....we are all willing to pay the 
price for good service, but damn it, give us GOOD SERVICE.
