If that's easy to implement this would be an option... as long as DVBcut does 
not produce perfect DVD compliant MPEGs, which I would really prefer!!!

I don't like to have thousands of tools to convert/demux/cut/reqant my DVB 
recordings... this procedure only multiplies disc space and time needed to do 
the job AND is susceptible to incompatabilities between the vaious 
input/output files, for whatever reason.

Recent example:  VAMPS, the only requantizer which accepts MPEGS,
crashes with DVBcut output because of the stuffing bytes (Sven knows 
about it)...
