Alright. Here it comes:

- Consolidation of the source code. Make it better OO style. I had done some
things not so well 2 years ago...
- Getting rid of FFMPEG. Completely. Use libmpeg2 for decoding pictures,
mpeg2enc code for encoding. libmad for MPEG2 audio decoding and liba52 for
AC3 decoding. Abandon old FFMPEG muxers.
- Better indexer. The index should contain information on both video and audio
streams. Wrong timestamps should be fixed while indexing, and later on all
needed timestamps should stem from the index file.
- Better muxer. Make use of mplex code if possible!?
- Better co-operation with dvdauthor. Create dvdauthor xml files.
- Optionally, requantize video streams before muxing (using m2vrequant code).
- Support for subtitle streams.
- All this: fast, stable and convenient.
- Better documentation.
- Display version number somewhere.

So... this is a wish list. Wish means, I would love to see this in DVBCUT. Not
that I actually start working on it...

Have a good night, folks.
