Tricky, for some people - when I've tagged, my tags don't link up to my interests very directly. For example, I tag a lot of religious related stuff very specifically (ritual-tech, specific ritual names, etc.) but I don't need all of those showing up on the interests (And in fact, they probably won't make sense to people unless they know me or the topic fairly well). And, going the other way round, I'm not likely to tag my stuff, say, Wicca, which is both insufficiently accurate for what I do, and stupid to tag in my own journal, where there are more precise things I'd rather track (I mean, I know - and other people reading generally do - that everything I do falls in that broad general category, I don't need to constantly label it.) That said, I would *adore* something that let me group tags together (and link them to specific interests), so that someone who found my journal could look at Wicca or religious witchcraft, or whatever, and then could see the tags I'd associated with that (like ritual-tech or specific ritual names, etc.) Like Delicious does with grouping tags, essentially. I recognise, of course, that this is not likely to happen any time soon, but while we're wishing, thought I'd throw it out there. -- Jenett _______________________________________________ dw-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dwscoalition.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dw-discuss
