Yes most of his operation was on phone and CW was "on request", when I worked him on SSB on the only band I could, I felt ashamed to ask him for a CW qso because the pile up was getting bigger - thinking that I didn't want my call be thrown around on the clusters...now that's one I'm still missing..so much for thinking about "the deserving" ...to think that today many can care less about the rest in a pile up....how times have changed........

He'd made over 20 000 contacts, despite spending much time fixing broken antennas. I never was able to hear him. I don't think he was anywhere near the level of an operation like VP8SSI, the two big 3Y0 operations, VK0IR, etc. He satisfied a few but by no means moved Bouvet much on the wanted list. 73, Zack W9SZ On Wed, 12 Sep 2007, Gerry Hohn wrote: > > I worked 3Y0C (Bouvet) in Jan 2001 > > Gerry VE6LB > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Zack Widup" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> >> I wonder if there will ever be another operation from Bouvet?
