OK Tonno,

B4 YOU TRY THIS MAKE BACKUPS !!!!!!!

With spaces it is (a little) harder but I think it could be done
And if only Names and qth are in it, other comments or data will mess up

If you like you can try the following or wait until Paul comes up
with a solution, and I know for sure it will not be easy because
everybody has filled in differently.

First step
Export your log in Version 7 using the dx4win6 I/E filter
Name it ES5TV-v7
Now you should have
ES5TV-v7.DXQ and ES5TV-v7.DXN

We ARE only interested in the ES5TV-v7.DXN file
Open this file with TEXTPAD or similar editor that has more
Options those provided by WINDOWS (they don´t work for this)
Now you will see something like this example

JA1BNL,TAKA TOKYO
Now with textpad you search for a (space) and replace with (space)IN(space)
Afterwards it should look like
JA1BNL,TAKA IN TOKYO

If ok you do replace all

Save the file

Second step
Open Version 7
Close your log
New Log
Name it ES5TV-TESTLOG
VERY IMPORTANT NOW
PUT 1 QSO IN THIS NEW LOG
SAVE THE LOG with alt-s
Now import with dx4win6 I/E filter ES5TV-v7.DXQ
Also the correct *.DXN needs to be there
Take the second option in possibilities
if there would be an other problems
The import would stop if you chose the first one
If all goes well you have a new log with the correct delimiter

Third step
Copy this log ES5TV-TESTLOG.DXL in version 8 save directory
Close everything else
Start DX4W801 now
Close the log you have open and then open
The new log you placed in the save directory
It will be converted to the V8 standard now

Now go to QSO|multiple QSO´s operations|Set Name and Qth
And all should be put in correct fields
