Hy guys. My set up is a TS2000X with CAT made via Ham Radio Deluxe.
Connection Is made with a serial/USB converter @ 57600 PC is an AMD Athlon @ 1 GHz, 640 RAM and Win XP sp3 Of course if I try to connect DX4WIN to my radio, PC says that the com is busy. If I connect DX4WIN without running Ham Radio Deluxe, all is ok, band map is ok, no problem. Yesterday in a forum someone talked to me about Virtual Serial Ports Emulator freeware software (VSPE). I immediately installed the software and after some minutes I was able to create a virtual com where to address Dx4WIN AND HRD. Fantastic: when I receive a spot I click on that, it change me the setting of the radio, HRD show all the new parameters and in the Dx4WIN I get the call in the right place. All works ok.BUT: Looking at the band map, it flickers: the vertical, qrg line moves from left to right and than again right to left. The frequency showed on the top of band map start from the right one and step by step goes down..down..down to zero.without moving the real QRG on the radio. On the QSO input window, the same happen in the frequency display. But even the mode and the band are changing step by step without sense. I tried to set the radio on 18140 SSB, on the band map the frequency starts to move down. In the QSO window problem is that the mode changes to CW, and so on and even the qrg moves. If I log the "qso" dx4win doesn't get the real data but what is displaying at that time. I have tried to reduce the com speed down to 9600 but nothing has changed. So I returned to my old setting.but there is any way to fix the problem? HRD + DX4WIN are just the best of the two worlds and being able to run them connected to the radio is certainly fantastic.
