I have just upgraded my laptop from ver 7.06 to 8.04 and now the laptop wont talk to the IC706mk2g that I use in Mexico. I copied over the ini file and everything else works fine. It was only after the transfer that I saw that ICOM data rate is not copied over. Now I cannot open the 7.06 file for some reason. I have tried various data rates and various settings for the DTR/RTS/Poll rate etc without success. The 706 worked fb with different earlier versions of DX4Win for some years.
