You have to run DX4WIN 7.06 and see exactly what your radio configuration looks like, then write down those settings and enter them in to 8.04. If you can't run 7.06, I don't know what else since I don't have that radio. On my 756, I make sure that the baud rate (menu inside the radio) is set to a real number (not auto), and then uncheck the "default" baud rate box in DX4WIN and set the baud rate to match the radio. Other than that, the rest of the 706mk2g settings should be correct. If you have a real ICOM CI-V interface and a COM port, or a USB interface like microHAM or RigBlaster, then you don't need to bother with DTR/RTS settings. Otherwise if you have a serial cable interface to real COM port, then try each of the four combinations to see which one works. If you have a serial to USB converter, then all bets are off. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, <[email protected]>, http://www.ad1c.us ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
