Hello folks, Just switched from a PRO3 to a 7600. I'm now using the USB port to control the 7600 not the Icom CT-17 that I used with the PRO.
DX4WIN does communicate with the radio in this configuration but the control is very sluggish. It seams that it works every other try or every two tries as if the pooling is too slow or something is not correct. I looked over everything and cant put my finger on the problem. The only thing im not clear on is if the USB bus is acting as a sound card and affecting the com function, and if so how can I confirm this? Is there a way to disable the sound card function in the 7600 to see if that improves the communications between DX4WIN and the radio? It will be a shame to have to go back to the CT-17 to make this work while the USB port is available on the 7600 Any advise from someone that cracked this nut before will be appreciated 73 Saad N5FF ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
