Only half-right. Even LoTW confirmations need to be SUBMITTED to ARRL for DXCC credit, just like paper QSL cards do. The act of simply having a QSO confirmed on LoTW does NOT automatically give you DXCC credit for it. If you go to Awards, then choose your DXCC account, you'll see how to submit an endorsement based on LoTW confirmations.
